PeaceOUT NW 2005 is an extension of the annual PeaceOUT World HomoHop festival that originated in Oakland, CA August of 2001. PeaceOUT NW will take place September 16-17 at the Bossanova in Portland, Oregon. Please see the following website for more information about the festival's history.

PeaceOUT Northwest was started by Puppet of Put'm Up Productions, LLC. Puppet has been working in the Portland, OR LGBTQ community as a DJ, promoter and event producer. Puppet has been greatly impressed by the talents of the LGBTQ hip-hop community and has been blessed by the musical gods (and Juba Kalamka of the original festival) with the opportunity to produce this event. Puppet has DJ'd, promoted, sponsored and supported various events throughout the last three years she has resided in Portland. Puppet has a deep love for music and believes in promoting musical diversity in the LGBTQ community.
